Meet Our Tenants
THBD has been open for more than two years and so far we have housed and supported six startup tenants: WashSense, SiMMo3D, MR3 Health, Advanced Scanners, Emergent Biotechnologies and Neurofront Technologies. We also provide seed funding opportunities to our tenants who qualify, support them with mentorship, and provide networking opportunities with our local area collaborators.
We are just minutes away from our collaborator’s facilities, which include Baylor Scott & White Health, Texas A&M Health Science Center, USDA Research Center, Texas A&M Blacklands Research & Extension Center, and the Department of Veterans Affairs.
When our tenants join THBD, they are given opportunities to network with these collaborators. THBD does not require equity from our tenant companies, unlike most incubators. THBD’s hope is that the company will establish themselves in the city of Temple to support the economic development of the biotech industry in Texas.
